AT DELAMORE GALLERY AND SCULPTURE GARDEN
OPEN 19 APRIL - 08 JUNE
On 19 April, Delamore Gallery is staging the pioneering year of Spring Forward – our annual craft exhibition that will run in conjunction with Art @ Delamore 08.
Spring Forward will introduce previously unseen work from more than 30 photographers, jewellers, printmakers, ceramicists and other craftsmen. The diverse range includes jewellery by Stephanie Buddle and Sarah Scott, print-work by Emma Molony and Jo Talbot Bowen, textile-based pieces by Adam Halls, and metalwork by renowned artist Melanie Guy.
As well as this, photography of the natural world by Michael Carter, Mark King and Sean Hellman will juxtapose a series of urban images by the London-based Fen Newman. We are also honoured to exhibit international work by two French artists; the incredible figurative paper sculptures by Marion Lamy, and the eerie stitch-work paintings by Sholeh Kashizadeh.
Other artists include: Caroline Nash, Diane Roberts, Anne Cope, Pat Berriman, Crispian Heath, Emmy Gai Palmer, Carole Rolfe, Janine Partington, Sharon McSwiney, Rachel Darbourne, Eunice Calvert, Penny Carter, and Richard Snowden.
All work on show will be on sale, including prints and cards by many of the artists. Our peaceful courtyward will feature sculptures by Peter Stride, Jenny Wynne Jones, Suzie Marsh and more.
As part of the sixth annual Art @ Delamore exhibition this year, which takes place on the Delamore Estate and features over 130 leading painters and sculptors, there will be a sculpture trail from the main house to Delamore Gallery every day in May. More details about the Art @ Delamore 08 show can be found at www.delamore-art.co.uk, or follow the link on the Gallery's homepage.
